PRAYER

Pray without ceasing
"I want it and I want it Now" - how many of us feel this way when we pray? I sure do. If God says He's going to do it I believe it whole heartily, until that very next moment not seeing it happening or falling from the sky. I've been guilty of allowing fear in. The Word continuously encourages us to stay in prayer (Thessalonians 5:17) and to give thanks (Philippians 1:3-4) because it is good for us.  We have learned that God has given us authority (Matthew 28:18-19). When we don't see a miracle manifest at that moment we have to remember to continually pray and give thanks! We then begin to start our journey in the working out of a miracle. God believes in us so much, and He wants the best for us; James 1:2-4 tells us to persevere so that we lack nothing. Some miracles happen immediately, and some we have to work out. When discouragement comes we must pray without ceasing. Give thanks for that miracle every time a negative thought comes. You just may receive more with the Miracle that you are waiting for! Pray continually, give thanks, expect and please never give up!
If you are a person who is called to pray, PLEASE come join us each Sunday at
9:30 - 10:30am and Wednesday's (fall) at 6:30 - 7pm and share the gift of
intercessory.

A testament of prayer
Definition of testimony: Evidence in support of a fact or statement; proof. Each week we pray over the service, saints, apostles, new saints, healing, and much more!! Many times prayer has revealed what the following service is going to be about, which is a huge testimony to the prayer team; that we are aligned in the Spirit. It is so encouraging and a huge faith builder to the body of Christ when we hear about the wonderful things God has done! I have a few testimonies to share: A CFC member sowed a $50 seed, and immediately received $50 from someone else, along with receiving a car. A man was believing God for a job he not only received the job, but it was more than what he had been asking for. A request for families to be restored has been answered. God is still doing great and mighty things at CFC and to all that believe when they make their request known believe that you receive and it shall be done! We know God is doing more than what we even know so if you have a good report please share! Next week we will have Pastor Cesar come - there will be Healing, deliverances, and many miracles! Please hold these services up in prayer. If you are a person who is called to pray, PLEASE come join us each Sunday at 9:30 - 10:30am and Wednesday's (fall) at 6:30 - 7pm and share the gift of intercessory.

What is intercession?

Prayer, petition, or entreaty in favor of another.

What a blessing to be called to pray on behalf of another.
As I think about the blessing to stand in the Gap for others I also think of the seriousness of the call as well.

Many people are in need of prayer and most do not know how to pray.
The bible says in Isaiah 53:12 ... He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. The Lord  gave His life for us so that we may be free from sin. He prayed (interceded) for us due to the disobedience against GOD.  The Lord  wants to see us succeed, and receive everything GOD has planned for our lives, one of which is Salvation.  Most people do not understand the complexity of sin in their life until Jesus begins to show them of the many things that separate them from having a true relationship with Him and GOD's will for their life.  The Lord is the only one that truly knows what each of our needs are, and He knows exactly how to pray for us. GOD has gifted many with a intercessory anointing.  He will give you thoughts, dreams, or visions, or you may hear the name of a person or thing.  Someone may have a specific request, but what do we pray? It definitely would not be our will in prayer!  In Romans 8:26-28  it say's; (let's focus on verse 27),
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the "will of GOD".
The mind of the "Spirit" is (the mind of Christ), or the Holy Spirit (speaking in tongues) that lives in us.  Because this is a language between the Spirit and GOD. Satan can try to interfere in many ways to break the power of prayer and GOD's move on a persons life.  My own thoughts can be thoughts of fear, doubt, and worry, but not GOD's thoughts; His thoughts are of faith, confidence, peace of mind, and His perfect will being done. As intercessors we have to be sensitive to the Spirit. Careful in our own thoughts, opinions, and distractions when GOD is calling us to prayer. When this happens draw nearer to prayer immediately.  Our purpose will be GOD's purpose.  Our prayers are being worked out for the Good, the Good is His perfect will.

I pray that we all have the mind of Christ as we make decisions, and are moved to a higher level in our walk. I pray that we can have a place where we can freely operate in the anointing of the "Holy Spirit". I pray we see many miracles manifest in the prayer room - healing's, deliverance's, and signs and wonders.  All with a spirit of grace and love!

If you are a person who is called to pray,  PLEASE come join us each Sunday at 9:30 - 10:30am and Wednesday's (fall) at 6:30 - 7pm and share the gift of intercessory.
